Refund Policy

We'd rather refund $8.99than have you feel stuck with something that doesn't fit your setup.

The policy

  • 14 days, no interrogation. Email support@captionplug.com from your account email within 14 days of purchase and say you want a refund. Telling us why is optional (though it helps us fix things).
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
  • When a refund is issued, your license key is revoked and the download disappears from your account. (That's the trade.)
  • After 14 days we can't promise a refund, but email us anyway if something is genuinely broken - if the plugin can't work on a supported setup and we can't fix it, we'll make it right.

EU/UK buyers

For digital content, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies until you start downloading the Software; by downloading it you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal right then lapses. Our voluntary 14-day policy above is broader and applies regardless - we honor it even after you've downloaded. Your statutory rights for faulty digital content remain unaffected.

What doesn't qualify

  • Chargebacks filed instead of just emailing us (please don't - we're fast).
  • Accounts that violated the EULA (key sharing, resale).
  • Third-party costs, like API credits you bought from OpenAI or Groq.

Before you go

Half of refund requests are setup issues with a two-minute fix - the setup guide's troubleshooting sectioncovers the common ones, and we're quick on email. But it's your call, and the refund is yours either way.
