This EULA is between you and Sarbaz Jan, trading as Caption Plug ("we", "us"), and governs the Caption Plugsoftware (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept it.

1. What you get

  • A perpetual, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for any purpose, commercial work included.
  • Activation on up to 3 machines you personally own or control. You can free a slot from your account page when you change computers.
  • All v1.x updates, delivered through your account.
  • The 62 bundled fonts under their own open-source licenses (SIL OFL / Apache - the license texts ship with the Software). Content you make with the Software is 100% yours.

2. What you may not do

  • Share, publish, sell, rent, or sublicense your account, your download, or the Software itself - including "group buys" and resale marketplaces.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software, or circumvent its license activation, except where law expressly permits.
  • Use one license across a team - each editor needs their own.
  • Use the Software to break the law. (Obviously.)

3. License enforcement (the anti-piracy part)

The Software activates against our servers with your account sign-in and an anonymous machine fingerprint, and re-validates periodically. Licenses found shared publicly, resold, or used far beyond the activation limit can be revoked. If your account is compromised through no fault of your own, email us - we'll secure it, not punish you.

4. Third-party services

Transcription runs through your own OpenAI or Groq API key under those providers' terms; their costs are yours. The Software requires Adobe Premiere Pro, which is licensed separately by Adobe. We are not affiliated with Adobe Inc. or CapCut.

5. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, warranties are disclaimed and our total liability is limited to the purchase price. Transcription accuracy depends on third-party models; the auto-censor is a best-effort filter against curated word lists and we don't guarantee it catches everything a platform might object to. 6. Termination

The license ends automatically if you materially breach it (notably section 2). On termination you must delete the Software. Sections 4-5 survive.

7. Governing law

Same as the Terms of Service: the laws of England and Wales.
