What the browser changes
Text wraps at whitespace. When one cue needs more than the allowed line count, the tool creates consecutive cues and divides the original time evenly between them.
- Prepare vertical-video captions with shorter lines.
- Normalize subtitle formatting before a review export.
- Reduce very wide lines before importing to Premiere.
- Automatic wrapping does not understand grammar, emphasis, or speaker rhythm.
- Proportional cue splitting is an estimate, not word-level alignment.
- Long single words can exceed the selected character limit.

Does the tool split long cues?
Yes. It creates consecutive cues when the text needs more than the selected number of lines.
Will every phrase break read naturally?
No. Whitespace wrapping needs a human pass for grammar and emphasis.
Can I use one word per line?
You can choose one line per cue and a short character limit, but word-level timing is not created.
